Marek Tyler (Cree/Scottish) lives in amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton) on Treaty 6 territory. Marek is a project liaison, manager, facilitator, and also an talented musician.

Marek earned a Masters of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University (MBA). Marek is known for his work with cultural projects including The Witness Blanket – A National Monument to Residential School Survivors; The Spirit Pole – North American Indigenous Games; and EAGLE Projects.

Marek has also performed on more than 30 albums and many stages across North American and Europe. Currently, Marek is an iHuman and Inner Peace Project board member, nonprofit community supporter, and continues to record and perform as Asko.
